KØBENHAVN

We saw windmills quite often on our trip. First in Germany and now in Denmark. These are lined up off the coast of Copenhagen.
The circus building. I don't know if there is actually a circus here.
This is just a movie theatre. But the colorful paint scheme made it noticeable.
City Hall Square. As I walked to the plaza I was bopping along to "Would I Lie To You" blaring on loud speakers. The guide on the shuttle told us there was a gathering today so I wasn't surprised when I came upon... (The flag in the background is a hint.)
...Gay Pride Day in Copenhagen. This guy is lip syncing to the Eurythmics supposedly dressed like Annie Lennox. Oh the horror!
The building across the street has a giant thermometer on the corner. It is 21° Celsius. That's about 70° Fahrenheit.
The entrance to Tivoli Gardens.
The Pantomime Theatre in an Oriental theme. It dates back to 1874.
There was a parade around the fountains by a boy's marching band. You could picture this exact parade happening 150 years ago.
Veteranbilerne. Not unlike the old Tin Lizzy ride at Opryland.
Not your ordinary Chinese restaurant. The old Tivoli lake was once the city moat of Copenhagen.
This Ferris wheel has to be pretty old. It is in the Arabian-themed area of the park.
The carousel.
The fountains in the center of the park.
This is that rather unique attraction where you think you are upside down when you aren't.
The Bazar in lights.
The lights along the entryway.
The same entry lit up after dark. Ooh, pretty.
I just liked this neon advertising sign. I think it's for some cold medicine. Or they could be mints. I don't know Danish.
Back at City Hall Square. All the homos have gone home-o.
A strip club! It's been a while since Hamburg.
