FRIDAY
Burbank
| Here we are on the freeway headed north from Orange County to Burbank and show biz stuff. |

| Yes, I've done the Warner Brothers studio tour before, but it is a really good one and I looked forward to doing it again. In fact, this tour was even better than the last. The guide was better and we got to see more things. It was in the shop inside this building that I bought a cap to replace the one I lost at Disneyland the day before. |

| *DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING* Here is the town square set where lots of things were filmed. The tour guide said he would give ten points to someone who could identify a movie or television show that was filmed here. I chimed in with The Music Man and he was impressed. He was less impressed after he asked how I knew that and I told him I remembered it from a previous tour. I was deducted ten points instead and had to spend the rest of the tour trying to get back above zero. |

| This church was where the Walton's used to worship. The side entrance on the right also served as the entrance to their school. |

| The right facade was the school and the left facade was the library in The Music Man. |

| You may recognize this one. Remember the television show Growing Pains? This is the exterior of their house. |
![]() |
| This is the back of one of the houses across the street from the Seavers' house. The back is made up as the front of a different house to double the use of the lot. Those show people are so clever. |

| The tour guide said that the fire escape on the right was the one where they filmed Spiderman hanging upside down in the rain kissing the red-headed chick. |

| A city street. It's weird how authentic these exterior sets look in still photos. It looks like the whole city has been abandoned like in some Twilight Zone episode. |
![]() |
| The famous tower, home of Yakko, Wakko and Dot. |
![]() |
| *DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING* The entrance to the ER on ER. |
![]() |
| Another entrance to the hospital on the same show. |

| I don't recognize this building from anything, but I'm sure it's been in a lot of things. It seems to be a Jumbo Mart now, but inside it looks like a diner. |

| This theatre exterior was where they filmed the Rocky Horror/Priscilla drag dance scene on an episode of The Drew Carey Show. |

| This is a big building with a LOT of furniture. We saw a cabinet that was supposedly in one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. It would be pretty hard to identify it from the movie I would think. |

| Surely everyone recognizes this. It is the set of Friends. Okay, that's not entirely true. It's all the props and stuff from the set, but the show was not filmed in this little area. They have everything set up as it was on the show. |

|
| Vehicles. I do not know what the motorcycle and the blue thing on the right are from, but the beat up little blue car is the Ford Anglia that Ron and Harry flew to school in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The car with the bat wing in the back should be obvious. |
![]() |
| The Mystery Machine from that awful Scooby Doo movie from a few years back. As I recall I think Velma was kind of cute. (Unlike the cartoon.) |
![]() |
| Inside the driver side window of Ron's car. |
![]() |
| The dashboard of the Batmobile. I really don't know which Batmobile this was. There have been so many movies now. |
