MONDAY
More Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure

California Screamin' on such a summer's day.
The Paradise Pier rides at dusk.
Aaaaoooohhhh!!! Wait, bears don't howl at the moon, do they? Then Grrrrrrr!!!! Anyway, we're waiting for...
...my favorite parade,...
...Disney's (formerly Main Street) Electrical Parade! Woo hoo!

Click here for some video of the start of the parade and my favorite parade music of all time, Baroque Hoedown!
And if you go chasing rabbits and you know you're going to fall, tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar has given you the call. (I don't know why I went all Jefferson Airplane right there.)
I accidentally used the flash in this one, but without it you couldn't see much at all.
Cinderella in her coach.
Uh oh! The clock is striking midnight. Cinderella is going to find herself stuck in a pumpkin in mere moments.
Peter Pan and Captain Hook are fighting as Smee floats off of starboard.
Next is Dumbo and the circus train.
I don't think Pete's Dragon was one of Disney's best remembered movies, but the dragon still make the parade. I suppose it's because of the smoke and all.
And we end it on a patriotic note.
I really miss this parade. I imagine it will make a reappearance at WDW after a while. It has before.

Click here for some video of the end of the parade and more of my favorite parade music of all time, Baroque Hoedown (with a bit of a patriotic theme)!
Back into Disneyland for Fantasmic at 10:30 p.m.
The castle at night.
Since Fantasmic didn't start until late and we were not able to go on Splash Mountain earlier because it was closed due to a problem, we decided to ride it before the show.
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!
I've never seen Fantasmic at WDW. Either it has been closed or too damned crowded and late or I was otherwise disposed. The Disneyland version has ships. Pan and Hook are fighting again.
The Cuyahoga River's on fire again! (Look it up. Cleveland, 1969.)
And all the characters sail on the Mark Twain at the end of Fantasmic.
