MONDAY - HONG KONG
HONG KONG DISNEYLAND
| Here is the train from the Sunny Bay Station to Hong Kong Disneyland. |

| On the train there are animal specimens behind glass. This is a cricket. |

| The MTR station at Hong Kong Disneyland at 8:20 in the morning. As the park didn't open until 10:00, most of the people on the train seemed to be cast members going to work. |

| The entry to the resort. |
![]() |
| Ooh, a scary topiary dragon. |
![]() |
| This is the Disneyland Resort Pier. Apparently it was built in anticipation of ferry services to the resort but they never happened. |
![]() |
| The Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is in the style of the Grand Floridian Resort in Walt Disney World. This is the back. |
![]() |
| The Enchanted Garden behind the hotel includes a labyrinth for children. |
![]() |
| There is also a tennis court and this little soccer field. Every Disney resort should have one of these. |
![]() |
| The inside isn't quite as fancy or large as the Grand Floridian. |
![]() |
| And here is the front entrance. |
![]() |
| Down the road is the art deco Disney's Hollywood Hotel. |
![]() |
| Frozen is everywhere! |
![]() |
| I got here early enough to explore the hotels and grab some breakfast. The Hollywood and Dine is a quick-service restaurant. |
![]() |
| Not a lot of people down for breakfast here. |
![]() |
| I didn't like the looks of the hot breakfasts, so I just got these banana muffin things, mango pudding and some odd-tasting milk. |
![]() |
| The gardens behind the hotel. |
![]() |
| Plums? |
![]() |
| They are building a third hotel called the Explorers Lodge. |
![]() |
| Back at the Disneyland Hotel I caught the resort bus to the park. The busses are not like those in WDW. These are more like regular tour busses. |
![]() |
| It is close to 10:00 and the crowds are gathering to enter the park. |
