| The old Royal Canal used to carry traffic. It doesn't look like it does anymore. The locks are still there and there's a nice little park along this stretch. |

| It runs past Croke Park not too far away. It's used primarily for Gaelic games, although it has also hosted some soccer and rugby matches. |
