MONDAY - CHIBA
TOKYO DISNEY RESORT

*DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING*

When nearby a Disney resort I have to go, especially when it is only a few mile away. We could have walked from the apartment to the parks but it would have taken about an hour. A twenty minute walk to the train station and a few minutes to the station was much faster.
*DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING*

There are going to be a whole lot of duplicate photos coming up, but these will be a bit darker than before because it was overcast all day.
*DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING*

The parks opened at 8:00.
The monorail line goes around the parks and is not free. I seem to remember that it stopped at some of the other hotels around the resort but I could be mistaken. It only stopped at one. Oh, and no big shock to see a Frozen overlay.
*DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING*

The lines were starting to grow.
Karen bought the Disneyland tickets and I bought the DisneySea tickets.
Watch the people running past the cast members holding signs telling people not to run.

See the three Duffy bags all in a row. It makes sense as it was in Tokyo that Duffy the Disney Bear first appeared and remains very popular.
*DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING*

There weren't too many attraction closings during this visit that mattered, but this was one. No Pirates of the Caribbean for us.
*DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING*

Ordinarily there is a very long queue to get into Peter Pan's Flight at WDW, but here at park opening it was a short wait.
Most if not all of the audio is in Japanese.
*DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING*

Regardless of the park, the Haunted Mansion is my favorite attraction. The one in Tokyo Disneyland is the same as in WDW.
The ghost host narration was in Japanese.
The familiar Grim Grinning Ghosts song was the good ol' English version.
Japanese people on a carousel.

Welcome to Toontown. It's more or less a copy of the one in Anaheim.
Just like the castle is a copy of the one in Florida.
Mmm, a strawberry and cream cheese Mickey waffle. I told my sister that this was going to be our regular breakfast spot when we visit Tokyo Disneyland. You know, for all the trips we take to Japan.
*DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING*

I didn't notice anyone in the treehouse in the morning. It's usually the attraction people visit when everything else is crowded.
Westernland is not called Frontierland because I suppose the western frontier doesn't make as much sense over there.
One interesting thing at the parks was all of the different flavored popcorns. Karen got some soy sauce and butter popcorn and it was tasty. I didn't want any part of the curry flavor.
You know who Elias was, right?
When we first got in we headed to get FastPasses at Big Thunder Mountain. The E-ticket attractions were very busy.
They still have canoes in Tokyo.
There's the Mark Twain Riverboat with Splash Mountain in the background. It was too cold for a water ride.
*DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING*

The emporium was closed on my last trip but it was open this time.
