LONDON DAY 2
| Looking down river. There were people from many lands in our car, including a young Italian woman with huge cans, so the view out the windows wasn't the only sight to see. | ![]() |
| Looking northeast. The only familiar landmark visible would be the dome of St. Paul's. | ![]() |
| Looking east. Not much to see here. |
|
| Looking northwest. That building that looks like a train station is a train station. Charing Cross Station to be exact. I don't know what the funny looking tower is. | ![]() |
| Looking southwest. A great view of both Parliament and Westminster Abbey. | ![]() |
| Looking south. The Thames has all the waste of a thousand years of life in London. It is a dingy brownish gray. | ![]() |
| Ye olde English people. | ![]() |
| The great British phallic symbol. Dong! |

| One of the buildings on the Horse Guards Parade. | ![]() |
| One of the Horse Guards. From the look of that pile of crap below, I'd say they've been there a while. I'm assuming the horse did that. I don't really know what the guy ate that morning. |

| This is Covent Garden. Lots of stalls with antiques and interesting little shops. People have been coming here to shop for over three hundred years. In the square is a street performer doing juggling and assorted tricks. | ![]() |
| I really don't know if these guys were authentic African dancers or just black English guys trying to make a few quid performing in the street. | ![]() |
