MONDAY
TORTOLA, BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS

The approach to Tortola.
The ship docked at a town called Road Town.
The ship has a big aft.
I had been to the US Virgin Islands over thirty years earlier. Now I visit the British Virgin Islands.
A fella and his gal out for a morning stroll.
There was not too much to see near where the ship was docked. Not too far was the Queen Elizabeth II National Park. It was little more than an open piece of land with this sign in it.
A look up Waterfront Drive.
In the event of a tsunami, run that way.
Bobby's Supermarket. I was quite thirsty, so I got a bottle of pear nectar. Fortunately, the official currency of the BVI is the US dollar.

The weather couldn't be better. A little warm, but that is to be expected.
All the people disembarking and embarking between two docked ships.
The balcony outside the cabin offered nice views on most days.
Looking at Road Town from the ship. Not much there really. I guess most passengers either did excursions, shopped at the stores near the ship or just stayed onboard while docked.
The previous evening, the ship had the Super Bowl on the cabin televisions and in certain public spaces. The next morning there was an English Premier League match between Aston Villa and Manchester United on in one of the bar areas.
We decided to play some darts in the afternoon.
The darts we were given were crap that kept coming apart. It didn't help that we were all fairly bad.
The dartboard kept the score, accurately most of the time.
Our cabin was all the way forward, so the walk from the rear of the ship was a long one.
In the evenings I didn't really care to do much. My father usually spent some time in the casino each night. Here he had just won $243.92 on one spin. He was up more than $300.00 at one point.
