DAY 1
London
Here is my standard photo of the plane. I don't really know why I always take this picture, but it is a good place to start.

We upgraded from World Traveler class (coach) to World Traveler Plus (a class between coach and business). The seats were a little wider and there was seven more inches of legroom which was important to me. Here are those seven inches.

This is what our plane looked like from space. I'm pretty sure you can see the red line and the city names from space too. And our plane was enormous!

Waiting in Gatwick for our hired ride to Carshalton. We didn't have to wait too long.

Here we are on the M23. This is about the worst weather we saw on the whole trip. On previous trips this would have been the weather the whole time, but it was mostly or completely sunny every day.

There's Cathy and Nigel's house in Carshalton. They have the half on the left. The sign out front says "Humps". I think what they do in the privacy of their own home is their business and there doesn't need to be a sign out front.

The Alma Road. We walked down this road on the way to and from Carshalton Station many times.

Here is the Clapham Junction Station where we had to change to catch the train to Brentford.

If it wasn't a sellout crowd at Griffin Park it was close to it.

Kickoff between Coca-Cola League Two leaders Brentford and second place Wycombe Wanderers.

The Ealing Road Terrace was packed with rabid Brentford supporters. This was an important match.

While a 3-3 draw probably wasn't what Brentford supporters wanted to extend the gap between themselves and the rest of the pack, they didn't lose ground. With the number of matches remaining dwindling down, the single point didn't help Wycombe gain on the Bees.

There is a pub on every corner surrounding Griffin Park.

The stadium is tucked away in the surrounding neighborhood. If you walked down the nearby streets you wouldn't know it was there. You can see it behind these houses on Brook Road.

Our attempt to get Disneyland Paris tickets at this mall in Hammersmith failed, but while we were there we got dinner at this place. I had a delicious steak and St. Austell ale pie. Mmm!
