DAY 4
Paris
| *DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING* The weather was a lot better on this trip to Paris than my last. That's why this photo of the Sacre Coeur looks better than the one I took a few years before. |

| I'm sure this guy has a name, but I have no idea what it may be. I think I'll call him Claude. |
![]() |
| A lot of people were sitting on the steps in front of the cathedral listening to this guy sing. |

|
|
|
| The haze is evident in this photo of the Eiffel Tower from Montmartre. |

| There is a little square on Montmartre where artists set up and sell their work. There are also a lot of people pestering tourists to let them paint, sketch or do a silhouette of them. For money, of course. |

| Here are a few of them. |

| A little street on Montmartre near that square with all the artists. |
![]() |
| Another street on the back side of Montmartre. |

| *DUPLICATE PHOTO WARNING* It's La Maison Rose. Unlike when I was here in November 2005, it was open on this day. |
![]() |
| And unlike when I last walked by this vineyard, this time there was nothing growing yet. |
![]() |
| Okay, so this is the same street I walked down last time and these are all the same things I saw then. Here is a close up picture of the Lapin Agile. |
![]() |
| This is just the Rue Caulaincourt. It is at the end of the walk down the hill. |
![]() |
| Posters in a Metro station for some film festival called Films de Femmes. I just thought it looked interesting with the American flag and the chick with the big blue fro. Actually now that I look at it more closely, I don't think she's wearing anything. That seems to be paint on her, not clothing. |

| Inside the Metro station. If you walked into that tunnel, you would be going toward the Porte de la Chapelle. Also, you would likely be hit by a train. |
